Delete your Availdar account or request data deletion

This page explains how to:

  1. Delete your Availdar account and associated data, or

  2. Request deletion of some data without deleting your account

for the Availdar apps (iOS / Android) and website operated by Availdar Limited.

You do not need to keep the app installed to make these requests from the web.

Delete specific data without deleting your account

You can remove or ask us to remove certain data while keeping your Availdar account.

In the app or website (self-service)

Sign in to Availdar (app or https://app.availdar.com), then for example:

  • Delete or archive projects you host, or leave / withdraw from projects you joined

  • Edit or clear availability and related entries you control

  • Delete custom activities and other content you created on your home calendar

  • Remove nicknames / aliases you no longer want

  • Clear or dismiss in-app notices where the product allows it

What you can remove yourself depends on your role on each project and the controls shown in the product.

By email

  1. Email support@availdar.com (or privacy@availdar.com for privacy-related requests).

  2. Use a clear subject, for example: Availdar partial data deletion request.

  3. Include the email address on your Availdar account, and describe which data you want deleted (for example specific projects, availability, problem reports, or other account-held content).

  4. We may ask you to verify that you control the account. We will tell you if some data cannot be removed while the account stays open (for example records we must keep for security, fraud prevention, or law, or copies held by other users on their own calendars).

How to delete your entire account

Option A — In the Availdar app or website (self-service)

  1. Sign in to Availdar (app or https://app.availdar.com).

  2. Open Account (Account Center).

  3. Choose Delete account (or the equivalent label in your language).

  4. Confirm as prompted (including typing the confirmation phrase if shown).

  5. Your account enters an approximately 30-day cooling period and you are signed out. During that window you may sign in again to cancel deletion. After the cooling period ends, deletion becomes permanent.

Option B — By email (no app required)

  1. Email support@availdar.com.

  2. Use the subject line: Availdar account deletion request.

  3. Include the email address on your Availdar account (Apple Hide My Email relay addresses are fine if that is what we have on file). Optionally include your Availdar account code if you know it.

  4. We may ask you to verify that you control the account before we schedule deletion.

Privacy questions (not deletion requests): privacy@availdar.com.

Before you delete — subscriptions

  • Google Play / App Store subscriptions: cancel or manage them in that store’s subscription settings. Deleting your Availdar account does not by itself cancel a store subscription.

  • Website (Stripe) subscriptions: cancel in the billing portal after signing in at https://app.availdar.com, or ask support@availdar.com for help. Deleting your Availdar account does not by itself cancel a website subscription; charges may continue if you do not cancel.

What is deleted after full account deletion

After the cooling period for a full account deletion, we remove account-bound Availdar data, including for example:

  • Your account and sign-in identity we hold for Availdar

  • Account settings and preferences we store in the cloud

  • Projects you host, and your availability on other people’s projects

  • Related permissions, notices tied to your account, and payment identifiers we store for entitlement (subject to the retention notes below)

  • Problem reports associated with your account

Uninstalling the app only clears data on that device. It does not delete your cloud account.

What may be retained

  • Other people’s copies: collaborators may still keep past arranged times on their home calendar and stats until they remove those records. They can no longer use a project you hosted after your account is purged.

  • Backups, logs, and security records (including short-lived abuse counters): may remain for a limited time after deletion (our usual target is no more than about 90 days). We do not promise that every copy worldwide disappears at the same moment.

  • Legal / security: we may retain information longer where the law requires or allows it, or where we need it to establish or defend legal claims, or to address security, fraud, or abuse.

  • Stripe / Apple / Google: those providers may keep their own payment or store records under their terms. That is outside Availdar’s account purge.
